Off to Kuala Lumpur~~

HELLO PEOPLE!!
It has been close to a month since I last blogged.
Didn't really have the time to pen down my thoughts.
Today is the last day I will be in Singapore, or rather the last few hours.
I will be taking the coach bus at 8am leaving for KL.
Will blog about it once I return..
So.... This post is dedicated specially to that strong and courageous person.
I'm so happy for you =)
Let those bad memories be blown away by the wind.
Burnt to ashes, cease to exist.

UPDATE!!

Haven't been updating my blog for like centuries.
Don't take me literally, but I just feel like blogging today.
Completed my IPP 2 weeks ago, and I still have not uploaded pictures taken during my attachment.
Rather lazy this few days..
My laptop isn't blue-tooth enabled, so I have to plug in that cable to get the pictures.
Update on my life so far, finally got a part-time job at AIA as a telemarketer.
Don't be surprised if I call you people up for some questions, just doing my job : )
Will also be taking on another job as well in which I have to get people to do surveys of the company..
Do lend a helping hand if you receive a call from me :)
Work starts on monday, which is just around the corner.
No more time to relax at home haha..
Let's hope I will be able to enjoy this job more than my IPP.
Will be working with saisai..

UPDATE!!
It's been a long while since I updated my blog.
I'm so excited, I can't wait for this to end.
Effectively speaking, I have 5 more days into my attachment as 10th of August is a holiday.
That totally takes my mind off the 'Monday Blues'.
Let's just worry about Tuesday and the remaining 3 days.
Shall share with you guys what took place last Sunday.
My parents brought the entire family out for dinner at Tony Roma's.
Tony Roma's Best Ribs in America
I've heard of it before but never actually got a chance to dine at this place.
What can I say, the ribs there are really the best I've ever tasted.
Totally owns Cafe Cartel's St. Louis Pork Ribs.
The smoking bbq sauce is just magnificent.
They have 3 sauces, chilli pepper, smoking bbq, honey.
Tried the different sauces and personally my family and I prefer the smoking bbq sauce, it gives off a very unique taste that makes your tummy grumble for more.
On top of that, they also serve customers with free flow of bread.
They just taste OH SO GOOD, toasted to the perfect degree of warmness.
Instead of butter, which you get at Cafe Cartel, they have their home made spread which just tastes heavenly.
Not that I'm comparing them to Cafe Cartel, but both restaurants serve almost the same things.
However Tony Roma's are on a whole new level, same goes for their priced.
We ordered the combo set which comes with a steak and half slab of ribs.
My mom had this voucher which entitled us to a free main course with every 2 main courses ordered.
Ordered 3 combo sets of ribs and steak and tried out the 3 different sauces for the ribs.
Served with a choice of 2 side dishes, namely: 'baked potato, coleslaw, mashed potato, corn on stick, french fries.'
Baked potato was rather nice, coleslaw wasn't bad either, lovely mashed potato (Recommended to try), corn on stick was sweet and warm.
Their steak wasn't that fantastic, the meat wasn't tender and rather hard to chew as well.
Well I guess being well-known for their ribs was enough for them to handle.
Didn't really get to eat much of the ribs, 2 hungry brothers devoured their food down like hungry vultures.
Full slab of ribs added on to satisfy our cravings.
Dad was feeling real full, hence the 4 of us shared the 12 ribs equally.
Dad just couldn't get enough of the bread there, and kept on ordering the bread.
He is just such a bread lover, everyday for his breakfast he must have a cup of coffee and 2 pieces of toasts to go along with.
Highly recommended for you guys out there to try their ribs.
Delicious to the max :):)
People whose parents have OCBC credit cards be sure to ask them to check their mailbox for the vouchers.
Definitely a good place to have dinner with the family.

The car was super long and looks imported.

1st time I saw the side mirrors of a car vertically inclined.. instead of closed up ears which most cars have. Just amazing

♥Ion + Orchard Central♥

On a fateful friday, met up with saisai to walk around Ion.
Walked for a very long time before managing to find our way there.
It is located just beside Wisma Atria but I led her towards the opposite direction and we had to turn back to Takashimaya.
Haha felt so sorry but after all it's a good thing to walk and enjoy the gentle breeze of the night.
Lovely night sky captivates our eyes but time wasn't a very good friend of ours.
A moment like this...
Strolled around till we finally reached Orchard Ion.
At the entrance of Ion, spotted a LV shop, beside it was a Prada, surprisingly Gucci was missing.
Guess it's just hiding somewhere around in the other corners of Ion.
Exterior design of the building was magnificent, as compared to that of Orchard Central.
Took some pictures of the building. Will be shown later.
Most of the shops weren't full open yet, hence we decided to head down to Orchard Central.
It felt quieter there as there were lesser people and most of the crowd were all at Ion.
Simply ♥ the interior layout of Orchard Central, I like how the building is shaped.
Long rides up and you could even wall climb in a shopping centre.
Somehow it feels like a maze inside, so many different escalators and stairs.. and yet they manage to link you back to the same place you came from.
1 word -- Amazing!!
They have this abstract piece of art hanging on the top of Gelare and I cant seem to comprehend what it is, looks like an animal without its head.
Looking up from Gelare, you can actually notice that there are wall climbers trying to ascend up to the highest point of the building.
Escalators can bring you up to level 8 for now, but hold up!! There's a lift up to levels 9 and 10 (The carpark).
If you happen to take the lift down to the 1st floor, you can feel that tingle down your spine.. that same exact feeling you get when your taking a ride on your favourite roller coaster.
For those people out there who dislike this feeling, please avoid taking the lift. It's good to exercise sometime by taking the escalators down.
There's actually a restaurant on the 8th floor and it is really very aesthetic with the unique designs and patterns around the restaurant.

BiTC Batch 9 Barbecue @ My Humble Residence

Hey People!!
Felt the mood for blogging today and I shall blog about the BBQ which took place on Saturday at my place.
Had a wonderful night on Friday and slept very sweetly and soundly.
Such a beautiful and magnificent night view that captivated the eyes of many.
Thanks for the wonderful time, I really enjoyed myself.
Hope you did too ^^
Woo Saturday is just the best, as I can really sleep in and get ample rest to prepare myself for the BBQ.
Here is how my day started, shall break it down for you guys.
Officially woke up and got out of bed at about 11.30am.(I think I lazed about in bed for about 2-3 hours HAHA)
Must be thinking why I'm such a pig, because sometimes I also ask myself that question.
After coming back from Beijing, I can really feel the drastic change in my body.
Lumps of fat growing all over and it's partly because I haven't been working out for about 6 weeks now.
I'm just too busy or tired to even think of working out.
Attachment is really taking its toll on me, wearing me down.
However, I shall persevere and hold on for this last 3 weeks.
9 weeks down, what's another 3 more weeks.
Ok lets get back to the main topic now.
BBQ on Saturday was a blast.
Met up with many people and it sort of made me miss those days we had in Beijing.
Actually I feel my maid was indeed a great help.
Helped to set the fire, lay the charcoal, cook the food, prepare the drinks.
I was like running around most of the time, trying to dish out the cooked food to those hungry people.
Overall, I think most of us had fun there.
Laughing and joking around like as if no one can hear us hahaha.
Luckily my neighbours didn't really mind the noise, or else I think we would have gotten a good dressing down.
Food was ordered by JinHui(my maid asked "This person is boy or girl? HAHAHA sorry jinhui)Thank you so much for the help rendered.
Would also like to thank eileen, liping + julian, uncle keong, jun hui for arriving earlier to help out with the BBQ.
And those lucky early birds(eileen, liping + julian, uncle keong, jun hui, nicholas, weihao, jinhui) also got to tour my house, wasn't allowed to but still I'm just too kind :P and don't let my mum know else I have to clean the house from the 1st floor to the 3rd floor >.<
Early birds brought snacks and drinks before the BBQ started and we polished them all up like hungry wolves.
After which amanda and kc arrived, am glad that amanda made an exception to come for awhile despite having something on later in the night.
Weihao just couldn't wait to have his hands on my mahjong tiles, and soon my house became a gambling haven, the entire atmosphere changed with the sound of the clashing mahjong tiles.
After that, I went to fetch saisai, meimei, canwen from the playground beside the bus stop as they were like lost sheep in a large grass patch. They just couldn't find their way in. Somebee forgot the way to my house :(
Brought them in to meet with the rest of gang who were already there, but I can feel that they felt out of place as none of the SEG people have arrived. Sorry if you guys felt awkward :(
Shortly after, they sneaked out of my house and went back to the playground to play on the swings.
By then came the butch guohao, doggy bong, peiwen, ah long, birthday gal jacintha and they managed to save the day by bringing more snacks and drinks. So worried he won't get back his $$ that butch.. WATCHOUT
Jeremy took a cab down to my place, really unexpected that the cab driver actually knew where my place was.
And then another cab came, guess which 4 little pigs were in there.. team legends captain ching seang, chink, pigu jas, and huiling. Heard she has a slight flu, hope you recover soon :)
The fire was ready for the BBQ and here we go..
Spotted doggy bong and butch guohao salivating over the food like hungry pigs. You can find them just camping and waiting for the food to be ready and dishing them to their plates.
Well at least they cooked for awhile? I guess or was it my maid cooking for them? Totally have no idea.
Was busy running about preparing the food and fetching people from the bus stop.
Didn't really have any time to eat till everyone settled down.
Those guys really useless HAHA waiting for my maid to cook and eat only, super smart.
My maid can really multitask.. She own me >.< while cooking she is still able to chit-chat with butch guohao and doggy bong.
Talk until as if they have known each other for a long time, especially when it comes to me.
She shot me like she never did before, totally lose to her in verbal argument.
Now you guys know why I always get bullied by her instead of her getting bullied by me.
Epic win > epic fail.. that butch guohao took a picture with her too, and it's on facebook.
Finally managed to get my hands on some food as those pigs stopped for awhile, but then came another pig.. ng weihao just finished his mahjong game and became throned as the next camper HAHA.
A car came by and guess who was it.. none other than our beloved Ms Yarny. Really happy that she was able to make it. BATCH 9 BiTC For The Win :P
My parents came back home for a short while and chatted with Ms Yarny as my mom used to work in the same bank as her. Ain't that just so coincidental??
They bought 6 tubs of icecream and it was has been a very long time since I last saw tubs of icecream in my fridge. Hohoho I'm gonna grow much much fatter.
Unless someone controls me from eating them.. or finishes them up before I do.
At about 8.30pm, huiying called to tell me that she had reached, so I ran out to find her.
On my way there, I saw penny and wanman walking towards my house and I was really surprised as to how they knew which direction to walk.
Smart people really know their way around haha.
Huiying alighted a stop late, hence I couldn't find her initially, but still managed to find her with my alert senses. (I know it's very difficult to see me in the dark, but my height should compensate for that)
At about 9.20pm, saisai needed to go off already as she has to travel for a long time before she is able to reach home. Sorry for not being able to send you home. >.<
Peiwen went off with her too as it was getting late.
10pm, jackson, angeline, yanling and celest came down to join us after their outing.
Thanks for coming, hope you guys enjoy it too.
After that was the camera shooting session, flashes of nicholas's DSLR kept on clicking away.
Hold up!! I think I missed out a very important thing.. and that's to wish Jacintha a Happy 20th Birthday.
Before saisai and peiwen left, we held a surprise birthday celebration for the birthday girl.
Strawberry *saliva* shortcake was the dessert. (Doggy Bong's idea to get my maid to blow the candles, blame him!!)
A wish too many...
// Special candles that couldn't be extinguished brought joy and surprise to faces of many.
Delightful hugs and wishes will make the day for the special one.
Live your life with happiness for twenty is never too old.
A teen's life begone, the start of adulthood awaits, may you have a wonderful 20th Birthday.

Iluma♥

Visited Iluma during the weekends.
It is the newest shopping centre located opposite bugis junction, beside bugis street.
Looks quite nice from the exterior and I feel the interior design is just great too.
However not all of the shops were opened yet, and I saw a new arcade.
As well as a new movie theater, so huge and grand.
Also have many new shops that could not be found in other places.
Check it out when you guys have the time.
Will stop here for tonight as I'm very tired and dragged down by work.
4 more weeks to go and it's Hello holidays.
BUT BBQ at my house is coming up 1st!!
I'm sure there will be many pictures taken on that day, so till then..

Hola!!
Had the mood to blog today so here I am.
Shall talk about how I suffered the past few days at work.
What's killing me isn't the work being assigned to me, but instead its the strain on my eyes that is wearing me down.
On top of that, my office chair isn't very well designed and its just making my lower back ache everyday.
Whoever designed that chair must either have a distorted back or he just wants people to suffer.
Seriously I need a good massage soon or else my back would really just give way soon.
There goes my back and my eyes are his best friend, just couldn't leave him in the lurch to suffer alone.
So my 6/6 eyes which I have protected for so long are beginning to lose their effectiveness :(
My right eye is really experiencing a lot of pain this past week.
Even as of now while I'm writing this post, I have to just use my left eye.
The brightness of my laptop makes my eye itch.
Facing that dangerous machine 10/7 for 5 working days straight, is really taking its toll on my eyes.
I don't want to wear spectacles >.<
Anyone that has any remedy or cure for this PLEASE help me!!!
Can't really take it anymore, so I'll stop typing for now.
GOOD LUCK for your attachment guys/girls!!!
Hang on there, it's just 1 MORE MONTH.

Draw the line, If I Die.. I Die

SUNDAY!!
Woke up later than usual today as I was feeling very tired in the morning.
However, I still managed to get my lazy ass out of bed and attend church.
The service started off with the singing of a few songs and praising our Lord God.
We should all stand Tall in Turbulent Times.
Pastor Nina gave us the God's Word for today "God is in control of all things" and this is very true indeed.
Anything that we may want or desire, God will give it to us.. The LORD gives and takes away, Praise the LORD.
[My Heart and Soul I give to you Lord Consume me from the inside out]
Trials and tribulations may befall us in one way or the other, but as long as we believe and continue to have faith in our God, he will provide and show us the way which we should take and follow.
After which, Senior Pastor Lawrence preached us on Drawing the Line.
A question that we may ask ourselves often is that "How should we dress and yet keep a certain level of decency?" "Should we abstain from alcohol just because the bible states that we should not get drunk on wine?"
Firstly, we must draw the line and GOD will lead us.
As Stated in Daniel 3:16 "O King, we have no need to answer you in this matter..." the message version of the verse is that "We answer only 1 person and that is GOD!!"
The 3 Principles of drawing the Line
1. Pleasing God & Not Men
Draw the line and decide if it is more important what your friends think or what GOD thinks of you..
Ask yourself this question: Which is more important?? Pleasing your friends or PLEASING GOD??
Don't let your friends set the standard for which you have to follow, but instead let GOD set the standard for you.
2. Personal Knowledge of God's Greatness and Goodness
If I Die, I Die..
It is important to KNOW YOUR GOD
God will provide as he is willing and able to save us.
3. Paying the Price of Obedience
Even if god doesn't save you, remember that you should always stay true to your faith towards GOD and not waver. Do not serve any other Gods or worship them.
Stand tall for GOD♥
Today's sermon was indeed very helpful to me and it really helped me to understand the different situations that we may have to be in and how we should actually face it and instead of just avoiding it.
That's all for today's sermon.
Headed to Orchard Central at night and went to visit all of the shops that were currently opened.
Only 8 levels are opened right now and it is indeed a very huge shopping centre.
The night view from the 8th level was magnificant.
Being just directly opposite Centrepoint, the location is just perfect for shopping.
Well hope you guys would enjoy the 4 new shopping centres which would open very soon in Orchard Road..

Basic Theory Test Conquered!! (Credits to saisai^^)

On that fateful day, I went to meet saisai to help me study for my BTT.
Felt very nervous and did not have much confidence in myself.
After all, it has been like 6 months since I last studied for an exam.
Thanks to the hardworking saisai for patiently coaching and helping me to study for the exam.
On the day of the exam, I had to work and didn't actually have much time to study for my BTT.
Luckily saisai was willing to go through some last minute revision with me and taught me a few tips on the trick questions and how I should answer them.
It still lingers in my mind.."Everything you answer just make sure is keep left and give way to pedestrians.." and "Always give way to the car on your right and on the major roads.." hahaha and I actually managed to remember them.
Before the test started, saisai prayed for me and I wasn't that nervous anymore.
With God's strength, I can persevere :D
Went in the test room and started to attempt the questions.
I felt I was quite lucky as those signs that i managed to remember came out, and those that I forgot didn't appear at all!! Thank God..
Finished the test in about 15 minutes and I still had 35 minutes left.
At that point of time, I felt very scared and afraid I might see the BIG FAIL SIGN appear in front of my screen.
Hence, I decided to go through each of my answers really carefully and double-checked them.
After awhile, I plucked up my courage and pressed on the submit button.
POOF!! I saw the BIG PASS SIGN in front of me.
Super excited and happy at that time, finally the studying had paid off.
Went out and got my result sheet printed.
Now that BTT is over, I can take on the next challenge.. FTT HERE I COME
Last but not least, I want to thank saisai for all the encouragement and support..
Really appreciate all that you have done for me:P

Hey there people!!!
Im sure you guys have been waiting for my 2nd post for a long time.
So sorry to keep you guys waiting.
Have been helping saisai to make her blog template as nice as possible, hence the delay.
Hahaha I would to take this chance to THANK saisai for all the help and encouragement that she has shown me these past few weeks..

RAHHH I dont like my workplace at all.
Although the people may appear friendly and helpful, but actually deep down inside who knows what they are thinking..
Just got back my weekly progress report from my OIC and she just gave me a 3/5 for the 1st 3 weeks..
Ultimate disappointed..
I guess I should put in more effort to show that I'm actually very interested to learn about things that I don't know and be less lazy haha..

Weekends
Went to East Coast Park with saisai, hl, cs,kc, meimei, cw on Saturday and many funny things happened..
They weren't really very funny but saisai keep laughing about our accidents, YOU BETTER WATCH OUT(laugh at me right..)
Scared right?? It's ok I know you don't mean it.
Will blog more about this when I get the pictures haha.. till then..

SUNDAY was a very fun filled day..
Slept at around 1am on sunday morning but was disturbed by some random sms haha..
Got up to pee and went back to sleep..
Had to wake up at 7am and get ready for CHURCH!!
Although I was still very tired at that time, but just thinking about worshipping the Lord made me jump out of bed as soon as my alarm rang.
Started to prepare and messaged saisai to wake her up in time for church else she will be late..
In the end she was still late hahaha..
But it's ok since I was there early to help them book seats.. YOU OWE ME ONE!!
Sat with my cell members for the 1st time this week and it was actually quite a fun experience.
Some of the guys have been rather nice to me, and I hope that this continues..
They are nice people :) hope to get to know more about them as well as get to share with them my experiences.
Have never been in a cell group before, hence I feel that there are many things that I can learn from them..
Today's sermon was about running on empty..
Which talked about 3 different types of hearts : 1) Dehydrated Heart. 2) Open Heart. 3) Overflowing Heart.
What I can understand from the sermon is that we should always have faith in the Lord and believe that he will provide us the solutions and remedies to any problems that we may be facing now..
As John 7:37-39 suggests (³⁷On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. ³⁸Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." ³⁹By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.)
Believe that we will receive the wisdom and strength to carry on with God's work and help each other through times of need..
After cell today, went to accompany saisai to find her shoes..
Apparently she has been wearing the same old smelly shoes to work for a very long time and just decided to throw them after they got soaked in the rain on thursday..
TRUST me her shoes really stink to the max..(she always give me smell her feet and its like EWWWW)
Even dog dabian also not as smelly haha..
Finally managed to find a suitable pair for saisai and she bought it on the spot..
As usual girls get tempted the moment they start buying something, so instead of just getting 1 pair, she got 2 pairs of shoes..
Well at least she liked them and looked nice on her... so money well spent.. haha
After that we went to have our dinner at Ri Ben Chun..
They have a unique way for getting food to our tables..
Very different from what other Japanese restaurants usually offer..
The food was quite nice and I don't mind coming back again.
Recommanded for you guys to go and try out..(Located at B1 of The Cathay)
After which, we headed to Bukit Panjang and went to Starbucks to chill..
Hahaha met the most random boy over there..
He was seated next to us and performing all sorts of funny gimmicks with the straw..
Totally made our day hahaha.. ultimate funny lil boy.
Finished up our drinks and headed for Home Sweet Home ^^

Welcome to my humble abode ♥

A huge welcome to everyone who passed by my blog.
Finally I managed to create my very own blog successfully after so many years.
I shall start with what is going on with my life now.
Currently attached to some remittance company and my job scope is practically anything you can guess under the sun.
From hard labour, to the designing of company logos and coding for the company's corporate website.
It's been such a long and arduous 4 weeks.
The end of this week marks the end of week 5 for me in the company, which means I still have 7 more weeks before I can be released from this torture.
I hope I will be able to pull through and get a well deserved rest after that.
Many things are happening in my life right now and I feel that the most major change that has occurred to me is that I actually went back to church.
This is indeed a turning point in my life which I think would be very beneficial and good for me spiritually as well as mentally.
I have since met many great people and which I feel would definitely leave a deep impression for me in my heart.
Who knows what will happen in the future, for now all I pray for is that everything would go smoothly for me, be it in my academic studies or my personal life.
Only time will tell..
I shall stop my fingers at this point and continue tomorrow.
WORK is so boring...
